On Wednesday, 05 February 2020, the brokerage event 'BIM to avoid media
disruption' took place in Dietlikon. Around 50 interested guests attended in
the event. The aim was an open exchange about the previous experiences of the
individual partners with BIM and digitisation and a joint discussion about the
current challenges and possible solutions.
Before the actual program began, the participants had the opportunity to
test and experience live the various fields of application of 'Virtual Reality
in Construction' provided by SCAUT partner WION. The official welcome by Klaus
Wachter, Managing Director of SCAUT, was followed by various keynote presentations,
which provided insights into the current fields of application of BIM along the
entire value chain. Current challenges
were discussed, and possible solutions were presented. These could be discussed
and deepened with the audience in the concluding panel discussion. Felix Amberg closed the event with a short
speech in which he emphasized the importance of collaborative approaches and
advantages of a strong partner network. The joint apero offered the opportunity to
deepen individual topics bilaterally and rounded off the informative event.
